  3. As we delve into the books of history ( pass the pretty pictures and odd shaped symbols) one might find that the before mentioned fascist regime, blaming past political figures(November criminal unless I'm mistaken) and groups of certain people for the countries problems, didn't "keep on repeating the same thing" they brought about massive "change" and actually socialized a fair amount of industry(Hitler even made VW state sponsored). So one might be a little more cautious when one goes around picking political movements for comparisons.

I have a hard time finding any example within our own government of traits I want carried over into healthcare.

Ps I'm leaving for olympia in 15 minutes where you all going to be, I don't want to get stuck hanging around this guy?

Here is a new article describing how most of the things that Obama has been telling people in the last few days are actually lies. He is lying, lying, lying to get people to think this thing is a good thing. What a disaster. The good thing is that all the people like Anonymous above will be just as screwed as the rest of us.

  5. Pres. Obama's second cousin, Milton Wolf, M.D. has a blog and a listing of those congessmen who voted "yes" on Obamacare last time but might be considering a switch. Also a list of those who voted "no" last time, but might need encouragement to stay the course. This list includes our Brian Baird. Blog address:

Don't forget that the entire Student Loan business is being taken over by this bill as well. No more recourse to various private banks. That means the government will get to say who gets the loans to go to which school, how much, etc. If the government thinks more of a certain group should go to the Ivy Leagues or the "better" schools, the government will be able to redistribute money in such a way that they can effect that outcome.

  10. Martin Luther KingMarch 21, 2010 at 6:12 PM

So 10's of millions of Americans have been peacefully protesting in various ways and all the old media can report on is a couple nut jobs that alledgedly made crude remarks. Of course there is no video of that, just the word of congresspeople who are known to fabricate BS out of thin air.
So all the great Americans who are in Washington D.C. protesting are once again tarred as racists and hate mongers when nothing could be further from the truth. They represent me in the spirit of Martin Luther King and non violent protesting. But the hateful left wing press and liberal Democrats paint them as kooks.
I cannot understand who these people can look themselves in the mirror with all the hate and lies they spew.

  11. I do have to agree with one of the liberal posters on this blog. We had a majority for quite some time yet none of our leaders talked about allowing insurance to be purchased across state lines until the Democrats came up with this pile of crap bill. Why is that? Maybe it is time for the Republicans to cut the bull and get to work for us. Did you hear us?

  12. I understand you may have started the current tea party movement. But i keep asking various tea party groups why the party has no platform and the answer i get is adherence to the constitution and conservative candidates to run in the elections. Makes sense, but how does one make one do anything. I understand the constitution part because its law enforceable by the supreme court only. As for the conservative part we are all socialists to a degree as set forth in the constitution almost 100 years ago. So it would seem to me the resolution to our social economic ills lie in the constitution. If this be the case then a platform to right the ship of state is mandatory. Its all about the money, because it gave power to those in washington, and to regain back control of your government you must take your money supply back. This can be done thru the constitution and should have been made a centerpiece of the tea party movement. The leaders in washington pre-empted you big time. Now they not only own your wallet but now your body. Someone better get with the program, because now they are planning on adding a value added tax to your budget. They are continuing to snooker the american people at every turn. If you want my help in stopping these people in their tracks i will help. I know what has to be done to make this a true capitalistic economy governed by a democratic form of government.
