  1. The Kitsap Townhall is being done by Reps. Christine Rolfes and Sherry Appleton on Bainbridge and at Eagle's Nest at Fairgrounds in East Bremerton. (The one in East Bremerton starts at 1:00 so be there an hour early.) Sen. Rockefeller is not having a Townhall meeting this month. I got this from their offices after I emailed them.

  2. Not really a comment so much as a general question. Aren't we becoming a corporate state? I really hate when people on both the left and right get buffaloed by corporations. For example the left/right debate talks about whether we should or shouldn't tax corporations, but what about the subsidies our government gives corporations stolen from working people's tax money. Basically stealing our tax money to set up quasi-monopolies and then buy up our democracy with "free speech". Why can't the left and right unite and establish a true democracy.
