The after-Thanksgiving post

First of all, happy Thanksgiving to everyone! I hope you all had a relaxing and joyful weekend. I know I did - hence the lateness of my happy Thanksgiving wishes!

Second, some information about poor Americans today versus the average American in 1971. Guess what. The poor today are better off. Interesting stuff.

  1. I think it's a very interesting article. I was born in 1961, so I remember 1971 pretty well. We didn't have a dishwasher until I was in junior high or high school. Heck, we didn't even have a color TV until I was at least 12 or 13. I didn't even know Star Trek was filmed in color, LOL. We never had "true" air conditioning; window units, yes, but in a two-story house with a basement, those didn't go very far!
