September 12, 2009: Where Will You Be? (Hint: Be at a Tea Party!)

I will be in Washington D.C. getting my protest groove on with hopefully hundreds of thousands (or millions) of other taxpayers and patriots. It is pretty late in the game, but if you are interested in going to D.C. for the big march and rally, or you are already going but need more information, just head on over to 9/12 D.C. This march couldn't have been timed any better. I hope we have an amazing turnout so that the congress critters understand that we don't want THEIR "solutions!" To find out if there is an event in your city/neighborhood, check out Tea Party Patriots and click on your state to view those events.

If you cannot attend any event, or there are none near you, then try to show your solidarity by tweeting all day long about it, update your Facebook status about it, put a sign on your car, just do anything you can to get the message out that you want to be in D.C. and that you are in spirit.

If you cannot make it to D.C. and you live in Washington State, you will find the local events that are happening in solidarity with the D.C. march below.

The Tea Party Capitol Surge for Real Health Care Reform!

  1. Obama looked like the third rate political hack that he is tonight. He does lie. Often and without remorse. The curtain has been pulled back and it is not pretty.
Thank God for all the Americans that have stood up and said "STOP"
Even though Obama is putting us down and not listening, we are being heard by some politicians who would like to get elected in 2010. Keep up the good fight!

  2. Tea Party and D.C. march participants I am with you, it is uplifting to see the human spirit rising to the occasion in recognition of the danger we are all facing. It took some time to unmask Obama and his partners in Congress but now we can all see who they are. They are unapologetic socialists; the President was not hiding his true identity from anybody, he is an acknowledged community organizer a socialist by training. Unfortunately with the help of the media, the naiveté of some Americans and a weak Republican nominee Mr. Obama was elected president. This was a historical election indeed, but not because of the Presidents ethnicity, rather it was historical because we elected a socialist President and a socialist dominated Congress. The American Electorate gave these socialists a once in a lifetime opportunity to fundamentally alter society and our lives. Our task is enormous and only a heroic effort will prevent this people from implementing their plans. Please understand this: their goal is to take control and to take total control; healthcare, the economy, energy, global warming and any other noble sounding program is only a tool. They care less about the people they claim to serve or help: the poor, the working class (Proletariat) or lately the middleclass, these groups gain notoriety with their relative importance in the power structure; ultimately however they are all just useful idiots in the struggle for power.
In face of these the American people have no choice, but to fight, the good news is that we can win, the truth is on our side and there are more of US than there are THEY so keep the party going.

  7. The Washington State Potato Commission and the Washington Asparagus Commission recently held a fundraiser for U.S. Senator Patty Murray in Richland, Washington on November 12, 2009.

The purpose of the fundraiser was to thank and reward Senator Patty Murray for the millions of dollars in potato and asparagus research appropriations and earmarks that the Senator has secured for the Washington State potato and asparagus industries over the past several years.

During the November 12th fundraiser, representatives from Washington State Potato Commission and Washington Asparagus Commission indicated that they would continue to raise money for and support Senator Patty Murray if she continues to bring home the earmarks for them.

The fundraiser was attended by 25 representatives of the Washington potato and asparagus industries.
