Psst... I See Special Interests...

Hi and welcome to all of the new readers who have found their way here via Hot Air or Ace of Spades HQ or any other site!

I'm reposting the special interest excerpts from Organizing for Obama's emails, beginning in January of this year. I wish I had kept his campaign emails (no, I mean his real campaign emails, not the ones he continues to send out despite having won the election) so that I could prove that this has been going on for a verrrry looong time.

At the bottom of this ridiculous list you will find my video response to the heavy handed and pathetic cries of, "Hark! There be another special interest for you to slay Obamessiah!" Or something like that. Make sure to scroll to the bottom for the video.

Lastly, remember how they spent the last few months denouncing us and our "mob tactics," calling us astroturfed and accused us of supporting the "status quo" because we dared to speak out at tea parties and town halls? Remember how we all donated untold hours and dollars to self-fund every event we've held? The President and his cronies didn't like that. Pelosi said we were "un-American." Behold the audacity of hypocrisy.

“All of these signatures, calls, office drop-bys, conversations, gatherings, and town hall meetings, all of the late nights, homemade signs, long hours in the sun, and tireless volunteers who make it happen -- totaling more than 1.5 million people who've taken part in this campaign for real reform -- it all adds up to one incredible movement for change.”
Email from Mitch Stewart, Director, Organizing for AmericaSeptember 3, 2009

(Is anyone else amused by the reference to "homemade signs?")
